Know who you're renting from. Prove you're worth renting from.
Doorkeeper is where tenants leave a verified record of their landlord or agent, and where landlords keep every certificate, notice and conversation in one place — so nobody's left arguing over who said what, and when.
Currently onboarding a small first group of tenants and landlords — not yet open to the public.
Rent with your eyes open.
- ✓Read what previous tenants actually experienced with a landlord or agent — conduct and property condition, rated separately, before you commit.
- ✓See a landlord's real name once they've claimed their profile — no anonymous listings hiding behind an address.
- ✓Message your landlord in one place, with a timestamped record and read receipts — no more “I never got that text.”
- ✓Check your own deposit protection and compliance status any time, flagged if something's overdue.
Build a record worth showing.
- ✓Every gas certificate, EICR, EPC and deposit reference in one vault — with reminders before anything expires.
- ✓Respond publicly to any review on your profile — your side of the story sits right next to theirs.
- ✓Section 8 and Section 13 notice generation is on the roadmap — solicitor-reviewed templates only, and nothing will ever auto-send.
- ✓DocuSign-backed signing for tenancy agreements is coming soon, with a full audit trail stored against the tenancy.
Nothing publishes unchecked.
Every review clears the same moderator review before it appears, no matter how it was verified. Verification only changes how strongly a review is badged — never whether it's allowed to exist.
Unverified
A moderator has checked the review, but no supporting document or payment record is on file. Still published — just badged plainly as unverified.
Document-verified
Two independent pieces of evidence — a deposit certificate, a utility bill, a tenancy document — cross-checked and accepted by a moderator.
Payment-verified
The strongest tier — a licensed Open Banking check confirms rent was actually paid to this landlord or agent, for this address.
Compliance vault
Certificates, notices and documents, tracked against real legal deadlines.
Secure chat
One timestamped thread per tenancy, exportable for a dispute.
E-signature
Coming soonDocuSign-backed signing, with a tamper-evident audit trail — on the roadmap.
Verified reviews
Ratings tenants and landlords can both actually trust.
We're onboarding our first tenants and landlords now.
Doorkeeper isn't publicly open yet — we're testing with a small group first, so the moderation and verification systems hold up before anyone else joins.
